i had a little garden tea party to go to recently, so i dragged this vintage gem out of a closet. it felt appropriate but a little different too, which is just how i like it. i also like how well it goes with the curtains in my living room. behold:
this dress will shortly be on sale in the etsy store that my pal fLee and i are putting up. stay tuned and maybe it can be yours.
ooh artistic. not really sure what i was doing here but good times.
outfit details: vintage dress is handmade; pretty much went barefoot for this one since it was in a friend’s beautifully lush backyard; hair flower is self-made
song inspiration: “god help the girl” by god help the girl. this is what i was listening to while i was getting ready for my little shindig. god help the girl is a side project that stuart murdoch from belle & sebastian did a few years ago. he found a girl singer online to sing a soundtrack for a movie that hasn’t been made yet, pretty much. here is a live performance of the title track…how completely ADORABLE are these girls?
