i love what i am wearing today. i loved it to start with but i love it even more now that i have cut the neck out of this dress. travesty to all vintage lovers, i know, but it was too high and it felt like i was getting strangled by a weak midget all the time.
here’s a less lounge-y pose, which was hard to do since i feel very languid and dramatic today.
outfit details: green polka dot nylon dress is vintage and has a sears label; yellow gladiators are mossimo; stretchy multi-colored bead belt was purchased at a vintage store in austin – i wish i knew who made it so i could buy 5 more in other colors; bracelets are random thrifted finds
song inspiration: “lost coastlines” by okkervil river. this band is a longtime favorite of mine – i have seen them live about 11 times in the various stages of their career and have never been disappointed. this more recent tune is a duet between jonathan and will sheff and is really cool, although again not so sure about the video. incidentally…man, i want to make music videos for a living. i think that’s what i want to do when i grow up.
