it’s been such a beautiful week! chicago in the summer is the best place in the world to be. or at least one of them. i am happy to be alive and in love under such blue skies. that is all.
i have been very into petticoats lately. they help me maintain my modesty in the wind, as you can see.
outfit details: vintage gingham dress was purchased on ebay; yellow gladiator wedges are mossimo; belt is ralph lauren; scarf and sunnies are thrifted
song inspiration: “in time” by the snake the cross the crown. this band is responsible for one of my top 5 albums of all time, cotton teeth. them’s strong words from a music junkie such as i, folks. they have been on hiatus but last year released a very good documentary film called on a carousel of sound we go ’round, which today’s video is taken from. i cannot adequately express how much this music means to me. i hope you like it.
It has been incredible in Chicago this week, hasn’t it? I’ve been loving every second of it. and I love this outfit!
Hi, I’m the director of On A Carousel Of Sound, We Go ‘Round and found your site. Thanks for the post, love the outfit… and the hair! And Chicago is very appropriate, it was one of my favorite cities on tour for the film…
