i like to match graffiti whenever possible. it just makes life more synchronous.

i got the best compliment when i wore this outfit – someone told me i look like a tennis star from the 30’s.

outfit details: scarf and polyester dress are vintage; sandals are fluevogs; necklace is from a street fair; topaz earrings are from ebay years ago and i wish i had a ton more pairs just like them

song inspiration: “it don’t mean a thing (if it ain’t got that swing)” by duke ellington.  in honor of my 1930’s tennis fame, i bring you this oldie but goodie.  yes, i know this performance is 1943, but the song was written in the 30’s so there.  don’t argue with me all the time.  and man, i love that fuzzy background noise on old recordings like this one – it’s so hard to replicate in the studio.  ladies and gentlemen…the duke!
