we are having some ridiculous october weather here in chicago so far. warm and sunny and the leaves are all shades of glorious autumn when the sun shines through them. behold:
i put this outfit together because i wanted to wear these teal ankle socks. i am loving all the socks with heels going around the style-spheres lately and i wanted to give it a try. i shall definitely be doing it again while the warm weather holds.
i love living in ukrainian village – it’s so peaceful and well-kept. this was taken while todd and i were walking up to have a nice sunday brunch at mr. brown’s lounge up on the corner. really good jamaican food….i had the stewed goat and i will have it again.
perfect weather for an extra spicy bloody mary – my last drink until the wedding. 11 days, people!
outfit details: grey ultra-suede skirt is vintage; polka dot tie blouse is homemade vintage; vest is from hot topic via ebay; teal ankle socks are we love colors; black t-straps are aerosoles; mustard bag is kenneth cole
song inspiration: “the maker” by willie nelson and emmylou harris. i have been really into the teatro album lately – it’s a marvel of simplicity and really allows the songs and harmonies to shine. this is a song composed by brilliant producer daniel lanois and i’ve had it on repeat the last couple of days.
Fabulous blouse! I agree, the weather has been crazy-warm. I love it!!
What a fantastic outfit! I’m totally going to take inspiration from this. Fab – head to toe.
