you guys. i love this dress so much. it’s hard to tell from the photos, but the print is fantastic…cheetahs, toucans, monkeys and lizards peeking out randomly from behind leaves and jungle foliage. i think it’s an 80s-does-50s kinda thing and that’s quite alright with me.
oh, by the way, this is my 100th post. that’s 68 dresses, folks. crazy, huh? i have an addiction.
this is the sign that hangs in my office. it’s my work motto, and not a bad one to have, eh?
outfit details: jungle print safari dress is vintage; platform sandals are jeffrey campbell; belt and bracelets are thrifted
song inspiration: “knights of cydonia” by muse. this is a brilliant video and i am posting it today in honor of muse being the headliner at lollapalooza, which kicks off in chicago this afternoon. and i actually don’t think i am going to go this year, just don’t have it in me to deal with the heat and all the unwashed hipsters. but i shall be hitting some after-shows, never you fear.
